Event Policies

Registration

Registration is confirmed upon successful registration and payment.

Refund & Cancellation

A full refund is available when cancellation is requested at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the event. Requests received fewer than 14 days before the event are not eligible for a refund. If Umeversity cancels an event, participants may receive a full refund or event credit.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to treat everyone with respect, welcome differing perspectives, listen with curiosity, follow venue rules, and respect the privacy of others. Disruptive, discriminatory, threatening, or harassing behavior may result in removal without refund.

Photography, Recording & Social Media

Participants may not audio record, video record, photograph, live stream, or post event content on social media or other public platforms without the prior permission of Umeversity. This includes speakers, presentations, discussions, educational materials, and other participants. Umeversity may photograph or record portions of an event for promotional, educational, or archival purposes.

Liability Release

Participation is voluntary. Participants assume the risks associated with attendance and release Benefit LLC, Umeversity, and associated parties from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law, except where prohibited by law or resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Medical Emergencies

Participants are responsible for their own medical needs. Emergency services may be contacted when appropriate.

Agreement

By registering for or attending an event, participants agree to these Event Policies.
